 Late entries are $200/head
 
IMPORTANT  RULES
*No bird flu testing required this year.
* Show is open to exhibitors from ALL areas of the state.
*NO CATTLE are released from the grounds until the completion of Holstein Grand Champion on Friday afternoon.
*NO MILKING FACILITIES open on the grounds.  All exhibitors must provide their own milking equipment.
* All exhibitors attend at their own risk, and do not hold the CA Holstein Association or its directors liable for any health risks to cattle or humans.
 
When submitting entries online, you as the owner/exhibitor are agreeing to adhere to all show rules and Holstein USA Show Ring Code of Ethics, this is applicable to all crew members as well.

EASTER SUNDAY 4/5

MONDAY 4/6
8:00 am Cattle may arrive
  
TUESDAY 4/7
8:00 am - 4:00 pm: Cattle arrival
ALL cattle must be in place by 4:00 pm.
 
2:00-5:00 HOLSTEINS & JERSEYS check in papers for show numbers
*all junior contest schedules posted
 
6:30 Exhibitors’ Meeting in show ring
 
WEDNESDAY 4/8  ‘Junior Day’
7:45 registration for  Clipping Contest
8:00 Clipping Contest
 
7:45 4-H registration for Judging Contest (FFA members register on Judging Card, Youth Challenge Participants are registered with that entry!)
8:00-12:00 Judging Contest (4 classes, 2 reasons)
 
12:30-1:30 CA Junior Holstein meeting, followed by Youth Challenge Written Knowledge Exam
        *hosted youth lunch, compliments of friends of Los Banos and Hilmar FFA chapters
 
4:00-6:00 Showmanship- youngest to oldest - Novice, Junior, Intermediate, Advanced
 
THURSDAY 4/9   ‘Heifer Day'
8:00 Brown Swiss Show
 
8:00-10:00 Youth Challenge interviews
 
12:00  All heifer classes- alternating Jersey/ Holstein
* R&Ws will NOT show separately, but winners will be recognizied within class, and champions selected separately
 
6:00 Peewee Showmanship
 
6:30 Exhibitors and Friends dinner, hosted by Yosemite Farm Credit
 *Presentation of Youth Challenge Awards
* Please provide a head count for dinner to aid in planning catering!!
 
 
FRIDAY 4/10 ‘Cow Day’   
9:00    All Cow classes- alternating Jersey/ Holstein
 
*ALL exhibitors and animals are released at the conclusion of the Holstein Cow Show Friday
